I know that i could install dropbox and have both my laptop and my pi using the same cloud directory for the library. The thing is, i still want to add books and edit metadata from my laptop, the pi would be headless. I have a raspberry pi 3B+ lying around and wanted to turn it into a local server, always turned on. The problem is that my laptop must be turned on and at home. I configured a ddns and all and i can access my books from anywhere. I have a calibre collection on my laptop that i turned into a OPDS server to access my books from my ipad.
